Preparing properly sets the stage for safe, comfortable, and highly effective results—especially with advanced technology like the InMode Triton. Here’s how we need you to prepare for each laser hair removal session.   

1. Avoid Sun Exposure & Tanning: Be diligent about staying out of direct sunlight, tanning beds, and self-tanning products for at least two weeks before your session—and continue this through your recovery. Triton offers inclusive treatment across skin tones, but untanned skin ensures maximum effectiveness while minimizing the risk of pigmentation changes.   

2. Shave (Don’t Wax, Pluck, or Depilate): 

Shave the treatment area 24–48 hours prior—this leaves the hair shaft intact for the laser to target while avoiding singeing on the skin’s surface. Avoid waxing, plucking, or using depilatory creams for at least 3–4 weeks before, since these remove the root of the hair follicle and reduce the laser’s effectiveness.   

3. Keep Skin Clean and Product-Free: Arrive freshly showered with clean, residue-free skin—no lotions, oils, makeup, deodorant, or fragrances. This helps ensure the laser energy is properly absorbed.   

4. Pause Certain Skincare Products: Avoid using exfoliating products (like retinoids, glycolic or other acids, benzoyl peroxide) for 3–7 days before your treatment. These can increase skin sensitivity and irritation, especially when paired with laser pulses.

5. Complete Your Intake & Medical Prep: Prior to your appointment, you’ll fill out a detailed online intake form. This allows us to screen for contraindications—such as photosensitizing medications, active infections, or skin conditions—and follow up if anything needs attention before treatment.   

6. Come Comfortable: Wear loose, breathable clothing on the day of your appointment—especially if larger areas like legs, underarms, or bikini lines are being treated.   

It’s important to understand that laser hair removal is about long-term hair reduction, not permanent hair removal. The InMode Triton is one of the most advanced systems available and is designed to significantly reduce both the density and thickness of unwanted hair. Most clients enjoy smoother skin and far   

less visible regrowth after completing their initial treatment course of 6 to 8 sessions.

However, because hair growth is influenced by genetics, hormones, and natural cycles, no laser can guarantee permanent removal. Over time, some follicles will reactivate. This is why we recommend maintenance sessions two to four times per year, once your initial course is complete.

No, there is little to no downtime with InMode Triton laser hair removal. Most clients return to their normal daily activities right after their session. At most, you may notice mild redness, warmth, or sensitivity in the treated area, similar to a light sunburn. This typically resolves within a few hours, and in some cases, up to a day or two.  

To ensure the best results and comfort, we recommend a few simple aftercare steps:  

• Avoid hot showers, saunas, or intense workouts for 24 hours, as heat and sweat may irritate the skin.  

• Stay out of direct sun and tanning beds for at least 1–2 weeks post-treatment, and apply sunscreen diligently if the area will be exposed.  

• Keep the area clean and moisturized with gentle, fragrance-free products.
